DebtBloom aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought.
What that means in practice
- The calculator and every page work with a keyboard alone — no mouse required.
- Form fields, buttons, and toggles have clear labels and visible focus states.
- Results and the payoff schedule are real, semantic tables that screen readers can navigate.
- Live result updates are announced to assistive technology as you change your numbers.
- Text and interactive elements meet AA color-contrast ratios; the layout reflows down to small screens.
- Charts are decorative — the same information is always available as text and tables.
Known limitations
We test against current versions of major browsers and screen readers, but we can't catch everything. If something doesn't work for you, that's a bug we want to fix.
